Pros

Really comes down to what region and what departments you work in, but plenty to do if you want to look for it.

Cons

Company is huge and has been acquiring businesses for the last 10 years, meaning knowledge sharing can sometimes feel 'tribal'.

Pros

I've worked for this company or it's predecessors for more than 10 years, and for most of that time we have been treated well.

Cons

Every since Endurance Intl was bought and taken private as Newfold the company has been offshoring everything and everyone. All of our network operations and system administration is now overseas. About half of software development is overseas. All of customer support is overseas. All of the currently hiring positions are overseas. I see no future for US based employees at this company

Unlimited time off, full-time WFH if you don't live in Jacksonville, FL, decent benefits.

Cons

Where to start. Endurance International Group was acquired by Clear Lake Capital Group in February 2021. They also acquired Web.com. They merged the two companies into Newfold Digital. That's when things went to hell in a handbasket. They kept all the senior leadership from Web.com and most of them favored Web.com employees and there were 100's and 100's of layoffs. They exported all support to offshore and destroyed what little confidence customers had in the EIG brands. We were told that layoffs were over and our jobs were safe. Fast forward to February of 2022 and low and behold Newfold didn't make the amount of money they were projecting and they start firing people again. ZERO notice, just "oh your last day is today. After this call log out and you're done." The severance was terrible. Even the manager of the people being let go didn't know it was coming. They DO NOT care about their employees or their customers. They only care about the almighty dollar as is demonstrated by how they treat employees, how they demolished customer support and how they continue to be considered among the WORST web hosting companies in the world.
