Pros

Nothing was a pro here. Absolutely nothing.

Cons

No communication. Miss-information is a regular thing here. Lies. Lots of lies. Oh and cover ups. Absolutely no work-life balance. None. One time, I said I needed to bring my mother to a doctor's appointment in a few weeks to meet with a specialist she had been waiting to see for over 6 months, and the team leader said "doesn't your mom know you work?" They investigated a - at the time - 5 month pregnant co-worker of mine's doctor because they didn't believe she was pregnant... Pay was often wrong on a bi-weekly basis. Sometimes they would be off by up to 15 hours. They do not care at all about their employees. They can schedule you under 30 hours even when you're full time if they feel they don't need you there. When they say full time, they mean that's assuming they need you. If it slows down, they don't even think twice about cutting your hours. The list goes on...

Pros

Experienced lots of opportunity personally at the bottom level of customer service rep to gain new skills, take initiative, get promoted and move up

Cons

Customer service reps were generally treated terribly - hours were crazy, measurements and metrics were nuts, and project/workforce management was poor

Pros

It challenges you to fully detach yourself from everything you dislike about a company, in order to get through a shift, a full day without confronting management and advising them of the litany of issues you have with the position. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger theory. People that work there are generally nice.

Cons

Poor working conditions, keyboards are dirty, the onus for cleaning your always changing work stations are left to the user themselves. I once worked when it was about 5 deg inside this warehouse type setting with desks. You often have irregular hours, irregular shifts. You are tasked to sell a product that really doesn't exist and nobody really wants, so sales representatives are tasked to rely on somewhat deceptive practices in order to obtain a sale. Although the people that work there are nice, you can't help but feel like you aren't an asset to the company. Sales incentives were once almost attainable, were then rendered less attainable with the introduction of a newer product, thus throwing the whole commission aspect out of whack. Ive never worked at a place where the longer you worked the LESS you were paid?!?!?!?
