Pros

They will give you a bonus to try and trap you. The hiring process will be fast for a reason. They give you a lot of PTO but make it difficult to use it and then will keep it if your notice to resign isn't a month. If you leave before 2 years they will require you to pay back the bonus or go to collections. There is no sick pay and you need to show proof of being sick.

Cons

Salary is LOW for experience. My current salary offers are 25k higher for the same job. In order to do the job the correct way, it requires at least 10 hours every day. I did that every day for almost a year. The environment breaches ethics on every level to include human right violations and I still have no idea how they passed Joint Commission. Children come in there with trauma and leave with 100x more trauma than when they came in. Admission takes kids that do not meet criteria for admission and then they are put in holds. Yes, holds are considered legal and ethical. However, what about children unable to complete their ADL's and with extreme autism? Then, these kids are placed in the same room with kids with conduct disorder and extreme aggression. If you value ethics in any way or care about patients and their mental health, please avoid this place. They have numerous complaints against them and a child was killed in the facility not that long ago. Everything is paper and nothing is streamlined or done via computer. Management is disasterous with poor communication and extreme punitive measures for discipline. I exceded expectations but cannot unsee some of the things I witnessed in this facility.

Pros

The treatment is on a beautiful campus.

Cons

Extreme workload--can't possibly complete job in 40hrs/week At hire great salary, however, the amount of time you put in each week is way over 40. Management does not care about employees or their safety. Advertise services falsely
