Pros

Stocked fridge, in-office happy hours

Cons

Where to begin. If you value your health and mental sanity, stay far away from any Mullen Lowe/Mediahub agencies or subsidiaries. A toxic, dysfunctional work environment made only worse by the merger last year. Revolving cast of day to day characters with higher-ups who don't believe in any work-life balance. Mid-level managers do anything to climb the corporate ladder and are ruthless about getting ahead at the expense of those below them. Mostly failing pitches resulting in inability to secure clients. Complete disconnect between departments which makes communication almost impossible (it doesn't help that department heads mostly dislike each other and keep pushing back). Sold to clients as a full-service agency, but it's mostly led by a creative team with media teams and search teams having to bend at the will of the creative vision. No strategy to the analytics behind the promised KPI's and you will be literally scrambling to put together client facing presentations that make sense. HR is always hiring and constantly have open positions because most people just stay away. If you're not deemed "cool" you won't be in the "in-crowd". Another review here mentioned "high school all over again" and that rings pretty true. Be prepared to work impossible hours and while continually told you're not doing good enough.

Pros

Good people. The agency is part of the Interpublic Group so the compensation and benefits are decent.

Cons

Zero leadership. Low morale throughout the office. The management are generally clueless and provide no leadership whatsoever. They expect you to give up your normal life and work with a web development team based in Beijing who are 12 hours ahead, which means early morning/late night calls several times a week...I was even asked, at one point, to give up my Sunday evenings! Communication was also extremely difficult.
