Pros

- Scheduled learning process, allows you to remain focused on your journey to acquire and master employable skills. - Pair programming with devs from all over the globe. For every project, you build you can have an idea of how others in the same skill level tackle problems and implement their version of a solution. It's key to see how a problem can be solved differently. - You have a whole community of like-minded people you can learn from, share yu experiences. - Practice data structures and algorithms with fellow students. - You learn the best practices. - You practice using GitHub flow and Git flow, writing and receiving code reviews, these are crucial skills for a dev. - You are coached in improving your soft skills ie: communication, being a team player, time management, etc - You get a career coach to help shape your career ie: applying for and taking interviews, job search, salary negotiation ...

Cons

The reading material for completing projects might be limited, however, this can also be a good thing as it allows you to learn how to learn on your own.

Pros

- Full remote job ( you can easily work from home) - Pay on time - Develop its curriculum (I think because of adding new things) - I always recommend it to people who want to be Fullstack web developer - You are going to learn the skill on a global level not just locally - Perfect for people from developing countries

Cons

- They can pay in cryptocurrencies

Pros

* The people are amazing. Everyone I worked with was warm, kind, and committed. Microverse spends a lot of time and energy on hiring, and it shows in the quality of people they hire, both in terms of overall job competence and in just being great people * It's a startup, so you'd think that people would have to work overtime and weekends. Not the case. Managers put in a lot of effort into making sure that employees don't burn themselves out, and while some times might be busier than others, there culture is absolutely people-first. They actually encourage you to take PTO, especially if you're the type of person who sometimes gets so sucked into work that you forget to. * Because it's a startup, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth, and every manager I knew at Microverse would proactively work with employees to try to help in their growth. * Overall compensation was really fair, I think! On top of that, there's a culture of pay transparency; no one's pay was hidden.

Cons

* There's a lot of change, and the job you sign on for might not be the job you have in 6 months time. I debated putting this in the pros column, because I actually really liked that (it made sure that I never got bored), but since I had to list something for the cons section, I put it here instead. But it's something to be aware of, in case you're the type of person who'd rather know exactly what they're getting.
