Good company, great people
Pros
It's rare to find a company with a strong conviction that also respects its employees in and out of the office. As part of the team that was at one point as few as 5 people, being part of Message Agency becoming the full-service design/development agency it is today, it was refreshing to see that the owner and principal never compromised on his commitment to employees. Work/life balance was always important and a strong office culture of respect and professionalism made my time there extremely positive. Working with local organizations, nonprofits, and other educational institutions was no accident, the folks at Message Agency care about the work they produce and provide services to clients who genuinely wish to make the Philadelphia area (and world) a better place.
Cons
While the Callowhill / Eraserhood area is actively becoming more accessible, the office location isn't really ideal in terms of walkable lunch options.
