The strict return policy means we get shouted at from our bosses if we return it *or* the customer shouts at us for not returning it. It's awful knowing you'll get someone angry either way.

There is a high workload which can be hard at times, but its good to keep busy and have challenges.

Pay is always wrong and takes ages to get it fixed. Only given 1 weeks notice when your contract is ended with them. You are left in limbo after Christmas worrying if you'll still have a job at the end of the month and management will tell you nothing. When I applied I was told my job was permanent... it wasn't and the store I worked in closed after 5 months.
