Pros

The company offers front loaded PTO. There are some great people that still work here.

Cons

Toxic Leadership, No loyalty to employees, constant reduction in force, leadership consistently tells employees they do not meet their expectations without advising what expectations are. High turnover in PMO, HR and Supply Chain, 24 people have left the company from Supply Chain under said toxic leadership. 11 have left HR roles including VPs, Directors, Managers. The approval rating of leadership was 41% last year it dropped to 29% with the last survey. The approval rate of Supply Chain leadership and Medxcel continues to drop with each survey. It is well known that the primary goal of current leadership is to obtain power, influence, and success. Even if that means getting rid of individuals whom they feel threaten their goals. Does it make senses for leadership to get rid of hard-working employees? Absolutely not. However, they still do and this work model and style is praised and accepted from the top down.

Awful leadership

Pros

Benefits are decent. That's the only thing I can think of.

Cons

Pay is way low for the area. People are leaving right and left because they can make more money elsewhere. Management is borderline abusive at the main hospital. Leadership refuses to listen to staff.

Pros

Generous PTO and flexibility. Beautiful, comfortable office environment. Role started with tremendous promise and purpose. Peers and Colleagues are hard workers and prop one another up on the hard days There are pockets of the organization where positive, inclusive, and thoughtful leadership shines.

Cons

The organization’s transformation has created extreme vagueness about the future and people’s roles. Leadership quality has deteriorated; the culture often feels like “every person for themselves.” Some leaders seem unaware of the shadow they cast — how their words, tone, and treatment of others ripple through the organization. Toxic behaviors are tolerated, and the value of treating people with respect and empathy is largely ignored. Employees are doing meaningful work but are made to feel small and insignificant. The organization can be tone-deaf to the struggles of its people. If you haven’t been with the company for many years, it can feel isolating and unsupportive. Bad behaviors have often been ignored, which has negatively impacted the experience of new associates trying to find their footing.

Praise their culture, yet don't follow what they preach

Pros

PTO days given on day 1 is a huge perk! Benefits are okay, could probably be better given the association with Ascension.

Cons

The CEO feels that production is low across the board and having people in the office 5 days a week seems like the best solution, regardless of which team was the least productive. There is no "career path" followed/required for any employee, yet an annual review must be completed. How can anyone be promoted or "grow" into another role without having a plan in place. Learning other skills, achieving certifications seems like a waste when you don't have the chance to utilize those achievements. There is no room for growth or even promotion with the way things stand. Projects/ideas start but don't see to get pushed down the line towards being finished. Everything is stuck at 80% or lower. I completely understand why the pay is low, it's because most people are in the office well over 40 hours every week, but don't get paid overtime.
