Remote work is a plus, but underpaid and pressured in the worst way.
Pros
remote work, conflicting manager narratives compared to mission statements and no checks and balances with direct reports and managers.
Cons
They underpay for industry average by far and be aware of signing up w/ their bonus structure, they change it throughout the year so no one can actually get one. Then once you're underpaid, they trick you into taking on much more than expected and if you raise any concern, they gaslight you back saying you took on too much. The company has hired too many leaders who do not have the skills to do their job so accountability is pushed downward and pressure is used in group settings to force compliance bc the leadership cannot make it work. Also, they are running out of money and do not have enough to keep stabilized long term unless they get more funding.
