Cons
This is a small DOD consulting firm. Your job is to work ClearanceJobs.com until your eyes bleed and try to find cleared individuals. If and when you do find them, they will more than likely want more than you can offer. This company does not pay for LinkedIn Recruiter but will compensate you for Recruiter Lite which is useless as it is only for your 3rd level contacts. My boss thought DevOps was a language, not kidding and could use some serious IT training. He will not submit anyone to a client who is above rate, yet you are evaluated on your submittals. You spin your wheels everyday looking for cleared talent only to be told that they won't work because of their salary requirements. Happens every day, every week. When you are lucky enough to find talent, your boss wants to talk to them but is not able to close them and you will be told that he did 90% of the work and he STILL didn't get it done. And you will be blamed. Spinning your wheels, Spinning your wheels. I have 15 years of Technical Recruiting experience and have worked with several Fortune 500 companies but was told I didn't understand the IT industry. Unreal. They refused to provide me with a written copy of my 90 day evaluation, which was positive, and then laid me off 3 weeks later. Where I lived served as a source of amusement for my boss. They filled a gap for me and re-affirmed why I will never work for a small DOD firm again. YOU should take a pass on this company and thank me later.
