      Pros

      Great clients to recruit for and firm is willing to spend money to make money when it comes to investing in resources. Lots of perks - full office (including support staff) goes to Caribbean every other year and many outings and out-of-office gatherings throughout the year.

      Cons

      It’s recruiting. You either like the commission structure or you don’t.

      Pros

      LRP is a generous, friendly, fun and sophisticated executive recruitment firm. It's run by smart people with expertise in alternative asset management and its products, and Client Managers have long-running relationships with top investment managers. There's no shortage of work to get your hands on. The turnover is low, too. No reason to leave.

      Cons

      Recruiting is a grind and that doesn't change. All mandates are contingent.
