Terrible Working Culture And No Career Progress

Pros

I met a few great colleagues who worked with me at the time. We really supported each other during the time we worked together. They had a great central office location

Cons

- Rewarding and encouraging bullying work culture in the office by management. There was no support from management or senior colleagues - No flexibility in your daily schedule. I felt like I was back at school, where we all had to go lunch at the same time and return no later than one minute at our desk. - The job that was advertised was not a true representation of our daily task and responsibility. My role in the company was meant to be marketing assistant. This is incorrect, my actual role was copy and pasting email addresses for a direct marketing contact list that would be sent out to the leads. - There were promises of career progression, this is also false. The company is not growing because there is a high staff turn over due to poor business model, structure and management.

Pros

Grow your patience by dealing with fully grown adults that act like children Live out your wolf of wall street dream Free post it note pads.

Cons

Management seems to play favorites, certain events given to friends or even left for themselves to sell. They have no concept of work-life balance They expect you to work longer and harder for literally nothing in return Pay is terrible, able to make ok money if your selling but expect to forfeit your entire life outside work Ask you to leave positive reviews on glassdoor

Pros

- Making connections with high level executives from across the country - The free lunch when managing an event - Good bonuses if you stick around for long enough to claim them

Cons

- Embarrassment to work for. Poor reputation with those who receive regular, unsolicited calls and among the New Zealand Maori community. Just google "Liquid Learning, Maori" - Sales focused, doesn't care about their staff unless they make ends meet. Staff can expect to be subjected to bullying by senior management and unrealistic deadlines when finishing a project. The concern for the wellbeing of employees is probably the lowest of any employer I have ever worked for and that's saying something. - Doesn't see the value in their best workers. Many of LL's best performers are denied a raised salary instead being given a promotion in name only (and then expected to be happy about it) - Fluffy corporate speak ad nauseum
