Pros

Really good ammneties outside office space like hair dressers, nursery, starbucks and co-op. I can not think of any withen lead forensics.

Cons

I really had the worse time here but the title says everything you need to know. I worked here for almost two years and the long hours mixed with high pressure led me to suicide. Luckily i wasn't successful and have since become a father. Don't work here bcus they really don't care about you. Paul Thomas if he's still there is a nice guy but full of rubbish too. Makes it sound like he came from a rubbish part of town but he's really just a posh boy that got lucky with a rubbish product. Its an okey place to work until you find another job but I can not recommend it to enyone after what it did too me and i wuld say dont work there longer then 6 months or your head will turn to mush.

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to leave the review. This is difficult to respond to as you haven’t detailed what department you worked for. To address your points. 1. High pressure. Lead Forensics is an ambitious company with goals to achieve. Every person in the business is accountable for their own performance and by every person performing, the company achieves its goal of helping our clients expand their businesses and become more successful. If there is under performance, we do work with those individuals to help further coach them to get them on track. Our environment does have a level of pressure to it, but no more than any of the other ambitious company. 2. I’m unsure of the department that you work in so it is difficult to comment on the hours you worked. What I can say is that the vast majority of the team members that work within Lead Forensics days finish at 5:30pm. It is rare that any member of the team is in the office past 6pm. Very often senior management will be in the office past 6pm, but in terms of non-management team members, it is rare to see people in the office past 6pm (unless they are part of the UK team working US hours which means they start much later in the day). I do know that a number of team members will come in the office early in order to train and prepare for the day ahead, however, this isn’t unlike many other companies. 3. In terms of the HR department you may not be aware depending on when you left but we are currently in the process of recruiting a Global head of HR and then bring on further HR team members. 4. You are entitled to your thoughts about our CEO Paul Thomas, but this is not mine or my colleague’s experience of how he represents himself. 5. Finally, in terms of caring for the team members, Lead Forensics take great pride in taking care of the team. It is clear you worked in the Portsmouth office and just to remind you of the some of the ways we take care of the team. Onsite gym. Weekly circuit training for all team members. Weekly yoga class for all team members. Social events throughout the year including sports day, family day, Cowes week, dodgeball, pub quiz, Christmas party, sailing regatta etc. On top of this we have weekly all company meetings to celebrate team members performance, quarterly all company meetings to share company performance and celebrate winners, etc. Kind regards Henry, COO

I was sold a lie

Pros

The local amenities are good and within a short walking distance from the building. The scenery around the office is very nice with good commuting routes from all directions.

Cons

I'm currently working full time at lead forensics and i can say that it is a hideous place to be. The recruitment team completely mis-sold me a job opportunity and i was promised great earnings with many incentives and bonuses added on. This has most certainly not been true throughout my time here. In-fact it has been quite to the contrary! The hours are not as advertised when i originally started and the money is not what it's made out to be. Overall this has been a complete waste of time considering i left a very good and stable job previously. I am thoroughly disappointed with the recruitment team as a whole as i believe they are incentivised to recruit new staff and earn commission for this and therefore they lie in order to get you in. Management are extremely condescending and belittling. There is very much a state of hierarchy there with what i can only explain as the highest staff turnover rate I've ever experienced in this industry which says it all. Also i would like to add that the good reviews are fake. The management teams and marketing department ask new staff to post good reviews to balance it out with the bad and then they check that you have done it! Poor practices are common throughout the whole business.

Hello, Thanks for the review, however I work from the same office as this review is from, and none of what is being described rings true. Unfortunately Glassdoor do not require any proof that the individual ever worked in a company in order for them to leave a review. If you do work within the business, then you’ll know that I also work in the Cosham office, and I would encourage you to come in and discuss this with me (nobody has ever given me any feedback close to the above). If any one of these points were genuine I would very much welcome the chance to hear from you with some detail so I can look into this for you, rather than an anonymous online review. Kind regards Henry, COO

Good product, bad leadership

Pros

The product is great, I learned a lot, and worked with great people.

Cons

I really enjoyed working here and was rather successful but there are some issues. Sales is sales but this is 8-5:30 without flexibility. No access to email etc outside of office (only managers are given access) so I found myself working in the office LATE frequently. I'm punctual and often came in before 7 due to commute but the one time I knew I'd be late (gave a heads up) my manager docked my pay without my consent. Over hyped pay structure. Management encourage top talent to boast about how much they earn. The reality is, that even the best of the best here make less than other SaaS reps elsewhere. Refusal to pay rightfully earned commissions should you leaving the company. Implemented as a scare tactic by Sr leadership thus putting managers in a bind when folks jump ship without notice.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sad to hear that you felt the earning potential wasn’t realistic. We do have many sales individuals and managers that consistency earn the highest levels through their performance. We greatly value our Sales teams both in the UK and US and whilst our current average Glassdoor score for existing employees is 4.6 stars, we obviously didn’t hit the mark for you which I am sorry for. We wish you the best for the future in a role that’s more suitable. Best wishes, Paul M, Global Sales Director
