Pros

Rich in opportunities and learning experience as the industry is new and robust. Will continue to grow with the advancement in solar technology

Cons

Poor upper management. Unable to provide the proper guidance that will help sustainable individual growth. Poor work culture is a huge downside to working in this company and it will leave you at times drained.

Pros

Great technology company and many great people. Country manager and even corporate VP's tried to support the team.

Cons

Unpredictable, and not honest. My contract got changed after I was hired and the incentive provision was eliminated. At the time, I was owed over $30K in back pay and expenses. I was told my choice was to sign this document or resign. They did eventually catch up on back pay, but a verbal promise to honor any incentive plan was also breached. I was advised to sue the company if I had any hope of getting paid what I was promised. Essentially, I was 'iced' out.

Pros

Easy to claim OT work outside of working days since there's always some work to do. Direct supervisor are kind and easy to negotiate with regarding work. Has subsidies meals during pandemic. Little to no fuss when applying for any type of work leave, though really depend on your direct supervisor.

Cons

Incentive is low, often feels like hard work are not paid off fairly. Basically, don't join the company during new plant start-up.. work hard to get all line run stable but get no extra compensation. Management disconnect from production event, push output only w/o understanding some machine issue cannot be solve immediately, some takes time to recover, stabilize and monitoring before fully release for production. Rush also no use, product becomes reject/rework, then how? (That's what happen if the machine are (seem) cheaply and poorly made - paid peanut get peanut, some of the machine manufacturer is Longi's own subsidiary, cut-cost measure maybe?). Thus getting everything to work wells gonna take a lot of time, which everyone is lacking. High turn-over rate is telling for this company. Some may tolerate the workload and pressure, but once slightly better opportunity is lurking around seems like no one hesitate to leave hm
