Pros

Flexible working and nice colleagues.

Cons

No company focus or direction, poor management, poor communication between departments, high staff turnover, extremely low morale across the company. SMT are not approachable unless your face fits and feedback is often disregarded or challenged. Sneaky tactics are used to manage people out of the company and there is little room for progression, poor commission structure that only benefits the apprenticeship team. In the short time I worked here I saw staff come in all fresh and excited and have the spirit beaten out of them within a couple of months. Onboarding for new staff doesn’t exist, you just have to figure it out. The last priority for this company is the learners; mental health needs or learning difficulties do not matter in the slightest, as long as they can claim funding for a learner they don’t care what happens to them - they have a contract to support learners with mental health needs but no tutors capable of supporting learners with mental health needs???

Pros

The majority of the staff are kind people. They want what’s best for learners and try hard to make you feel welcome.

Cons

Bit of a cult thing, what’s app, email, phone calls, enforced company days/evenings in your free time. Incredibly bad data and the delivery side of things is a mess. Sales led organisation, rather than quality Promises made to both staff and learners rarely materialise Directors are false, witnessed on a few occasions being two faced Staff are judged rather than understood and supported

Pros

None what’s so ever, believe me.

Cons

Where do I start! Safeguarding aspect of the company is laughable, there have been many occasions when the children have been left with only one DBS qualified adult! The type of sessions they advertise to parents is false & have never been followed as advertised schedule! Management have no interest in wraparound care as they are more interested in the apprentiship side of the business as they are very saleman like when convincing teenagers into any sort of apprentiship. This is a cash cow for them, use other creditable apprentiship providers or call for genuine helpful advice, these guys will sell you a dream to get their commission. And that is just a few points - there is so much more from policy & data breaches to children abuse (bullying & neglect) in these after school clubs.
