Pros

The management talks a great game but doesn't back it up.

Cons

I had a full-time job offer rescinded 3 days before the start date because of "unforeseen business circumstances" (the offer was made 3.5 weeks before them pulling it). This tells me they don't know how to properly forecast beyond the present season. I had already quit my current job, to prepare for the transition. I get that this is their right as a company, but the delivery was the worst I've ever seen (and I've been in HR). I chose KTP to be a change agent and help them regain credibility, but I guess they are too far gone. Oh well, their loss; just hope that my family of 4 doesn't mind food stamps.

Worst Job Ever - CEO and CoFounder are Horrible People

Pros

Nothing. It is the worst and most abusive company I have ever worked for.

Cons

Pooja and Shane should not be running a company. Pooja (CEO) would call at midnight (yes, you read that right MIDNIGHT), after hours, days off, and early mornings to yell and scream or "work out a problem" for the company. Pay was not as promised. They used a non-profit to receive tax benefits, when they were/are not a non-profit. Pooja would praise you constantly and then just as quickly she would turn around to make you cry. She'd then force you to turn on your camera on (via zoom) so she could watch you cry - it was sick. There was also no such thing as "PTO" or any time off. (She once gave the entire company a week off, because, again, she denied all other requests - but I still had to join meetings for "clients" throughout that week.) I don't know, I was young and wouldn't take their abuse from them or from any company today, but just beware. They don't know how to run a company, never have and they (her and her "Co- Founder" husband Shane), took it out on their employees any chance they got. It's also not a safe environment for the kids they are servicing. Equipment and curriculum were always lacking - parents were constantly gaslit and lied to. I also want to mention - I was not fired, I eventually quit on my own terms, honestly after I couldn't handle Pooja's abuse any longer. There is better out there. Please take this as a warning - it is not worth your time, effort or energy to work at a place like this.

Pros

Only pro was working with teams that actually cared about each other and making a difference. If it wasn't for the people that worked together every day, you would have been out of business a long time ago. Any recognition would never be given. "You are narcissist and would take any recognition away from the people that deserve it.

Cons

Over 35 employees laid off with no warning besides everything being shut off due to no payment. The owners talk about investors and getting money for business. How long are you going to be a startup? If you haven't made money yet, you never will. Leaders are bullies, rude, disrespectful. Uses the "F" bomb in zoom meetings, belittles people in meetings, which makes us all uncomfortable, let alone the person getting yelled at because something wasn't done the way they wanted. You have been in business for years and never had "Values" added into your business. Instead of just a "Mission" ($$$) Try applying a Mission/Vision and Values. You might learn something.
