Not recommended if you want career advancement
Pros
Some very nice people work here. PTO time is outstanding. Work-life balance is good.
Cons
Unless you are with the ‘in crowd’ you will not advance. Some people earn 4 or more promotions in a limited time, while others never advance . Positions are often created for the dole purpose of advancing friends and relatives. Some departments have immediate family members supervising each other. Lots of blatant favoritism, which is flaunted. Operations and production employees are not valued. Many people that remain for a lengthy time do so for the PTO time. Quite often perks such as trips and extravagant parties are only given for certain departments and staff, and then the festivities are shown to the rest of the building. Lots of talk about being a ‘family’ but it only applies to certain people. Corporate culture needs to actually be carried out for all employees
