Pros

Flexible hours, nice and helpful part time colleagues

Cons

- Chur and low salary - Manager has poor work ethics: My job responsibility was mainly content creation, but manager “kindly” “politely” asked me to “take reference” on other content creators’ ideas for the sake of high search volume. (Haha you know what irony is lolll) Oh and the turnover is extremely high here, showing signs of poor management and office politics (I can feel it)

Pros

1. Work from home is available 2. Flexible working arrangements 3. Macbook if you like it 4. Helpful and smart colleagues that deserves promotion

Cons

1. Coming from a global company, most people will have a culture shock here as the way they do things doesn't make sense. 2. Career progression - even if u do well (Hit higher than KPI constantly) doesn't mean you will get promoted as they will kind of interview you and you will need to prepare a presentation about why they should promote you. I find this practice is disgusting as you will need to make yourself look good even though the result can be seen through tableau/KPI achieved, isn't that enough? It is a cesspool of favoritism and even though some ppl did not achieve their KPI, they can still be promoted as these people like to polish management shoes and push their own fault to other dept/ppl. 3. Certain Higher management push their responsibility to other dept to achieve their own KPI target, takes all the credit if that dept does well. IF that person from other dept helps your dept in hitting your own target, aren't you suppose to thank them? Not blaming other people when the revenue is down and pushing the responsibility to other people to cover your own behind. 4. KKday has been operating a long time however still think that they are a startup. There are many ways to promote KKday however they do not listen to your advice and only blame you if things doesn't go their way (lose face). Solutions are right in front of them but they can go one big circle to reach that. Efficiency is not their strong suit. 5. Micromanagement - Due to certain ppl who has been badmouthing ppl behind their back, management decided to target the victim and constantly berate, bully, forcing you to do impossible tasks, humiliate them in front of other people. Please listen to both side and not to your favorite staff. These certain people have not been hitting their KPI and you constantly listen to their advice on how to generate revenue? and you punish ppl who is doing work? 6. The art of Tai chi - really rampant here in KKday, Those senior management are really pro at this. Pushing their task/responsibility and increase workload of another person due to some staff left the company. Has that person got an increased pay/benefit for taking additional manager's workload? think of your employee's mental health and stop the blaming game when things don't go your way. 7. Out of Job Scope - Working in KKday will push you to do other Job task that is not related to your own JD. Why should you hire that person that doesn't do their own job well and assign it to another person? might as well you give that person's salary to the person who is doing it for them. 8. Staff benefits from KKday is almost non-existent other than the usual insurance, they say they promote work life balance but nothing that signifies that. How you motivate staff is a pandora box. 9. Townhall meetings which is the most important event in a quarter to give direction to the employees and KKday does a 15 minute pre-recording for that townhall not once, but multiple times.

Cons

- surprisingly bad attitude from local managements with no TRUST and RESPECT on working level colleagues - lack of e-commerce knowledge from management, poor decision making happens all the time - biased employee benefits across regional offices - generally an unfriendly working environment
