Toxic workplace

Pros

- Work life balance - Location (near LRT station) - Dress code

Cons

1) Your opinions dont matter if your position is lower than them especially if you are working under a lady boss or "she thinks that she is the boss". Most of the higher position women working there always think that they are smarter and more efficient than other people especially in TELESALES, FIELDSALES and MARKETING departments. Some of them just started working there for few months and they already have such a big-head. Dont bother voicing out our opinion because they wont listen to you. 2) When you make a mistake even a small one, better apologize a million times. Instead of helping or teaching you, these people (mostly LADIES) will condemn and scold you for that small mistake even it is the first one. (as if they never made mistakes before) 3) There is no proper guidance for new workers. These higher position people always expect new workers to know everything (procedures and steps) without explaining and telling them what to do. New workers usually have to figure out themselves and this often leads to avoidable mistakes and errors which will result in (point no. 2). 4) Office politic. Everywhere you go, you cannot escape this issue. But for this company, it is too much. You can see a lot of two-faced colleagues and bosses (TELESALES and MARKETING departments). Just be careful. Don’t get too close with them.

Pros

Very nice office, lot of benefits like half day off day on major festivals!

Cons

Since the change of leaders in the past two years, I am feeling disappointment because the current senior management of JSMY could hardly understand our job advertisement business, but everyday chasing for sales targets. If cannot hit the target, then we are asked to talk to the other clients for earlier purchase. But, the point is the existing clients do not want to spend money but looking for cheaper option. When we sell to the other clients earlier, then later on we cannot hit the target in following months. Our senior leaders now are not hands on like our previous CM, HOS, RSM, etc. Nowadays, these senior leaders only use productivity or PIP to push us. I am sure other colleagues also feel the same like me.
