Pros

Some very professional, honest and well-meaning individuals still working there.

Cons

Overall, this is an incredibly unprofessional organization and dysfunctional culture which starts from the very top. Constant guilt-trip to take (worthless) stock-options in lieu of sales commissions when the company underperforms. No transparency/very "closed door" enviornment when it comes to all decisions. It's a small office and when management is angry, it becomes very tense and toxic.

Thank you for recognizing and acknowledging the professional, honest and well-meaning individuals working here. They are what makes Jitterbit a great company and we attribute our continued success to the great team that we have in place today. The remainder of your post is inaccurate, including your own profile. Our company has achieved over 26 quarters of consistent growth and the value of the company and stock has increased accordingly. This fact has been validated by outside sources. Why would any company give away an increasingly valuable stock asset to underperformers? It is true, however, that underperformers do not receive their full variable compensation, as you experienced. Regarding the environment in the office, the majority of our employees work remotely. Those who come into the office each day do so because they choose to. Hardly the environment you attempted to portray. With regards to the open door policy, it has always been in place. Our CEO continues to host 1-1 sessions with all employees, we run regular employee surveys, hold a weekly company call, and continue to optimize the operations and culture of the business based largely on the input we get from employees. Every employee is a shareholder in the business and has a vested interest in this feedback process. We recognize that a handful of employees did not adjust to our performance driven culture and we regret that you were among them. In order for us to continue our growth and successfully achieve our IPO milestone, we have to make decisions based on performance and cultural fit. We regret that it did not work out for you and we wish you well in your future endeavors. Jitterbit Human Resources

Pros

Some nice and cool people. The product is solid enough to succeed, despite serious company shortcomings. My boss was cool, smart, competent, cared about doing a good job, and was not an ahole -- which is about all you can ask for, I figure.

Cons

CEO is checked out. Culture of 'eh'. Hiring freeze. People leaving voluntarily/attrition. I left voluntarily. Would not work there again.

First, thank you for the feedback. I'm happy to read about your positive experience with our cool employees and product as they are two keys to our rapid growth and strong culture. However, I am sorry to read that you personally had a bad impression, especially when it comes to my level of engagement. I take every employee's success at Jitterbit very seriously and I am very "checked in" to how we, as a team, are building a world-class organization. To clarify, there has not been and currently is no hiring freeze - a fact underscored by the fact that we've doubled the size of the company in the last 12 months. As we've had very little turnover at Jitterbit, I feel confident that I know why you wrote this review. Please don't interpret my decision to not act on your demands as being "checked out". I disagreed with your view of employee performance and I put my trust in other department leaders to manage their part of the business. In a growing company it is critical that we can rely on each other to remain professional and respect management decisions even if we don't always agree with them. Just as when you were here, my proverbial door is always open and you have my contact info if you would like to discuss your experience further.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Ok benefits Still a functioning company (for now)

Cons

Promotions and bonuses on hold indefinitely. Failing company. Employees paying the cost for Executive mistakes over the last two years. No loyalty or value for employees. You’re just a number/cost center. New leadership team has ruined the strong company culture in record time (congrats)
