Pros

If you have no prior work experience and are willing to work, this might be a place for you.

Cons

1.Lack of Professionalism: The overall level of professionalism was severely lacking. The employees, particularly those who were new to the workforce, demonstrated a lack of basic skills necessary for functioning in any professional setting. This not only hindered productivity but also created an unproductive and disorganized atmosphere. 2. "Help Each Other" Culture as a Cover-Up: ILSC propagated a "help each other" and "teamwork" culture to mask their issues of understaffing. Instead of addressing the problem and adequately supporting employees, they used these slogans to place undue pressure on individuals to compensate for the lack of resources. This approach led to conflicts among team members and an overall toxic work environment. 3. Manipulation of Employees Seeking Visa Sponsorship: One of the most concerning aspects of my time at ILSC was the manipulation of employees who sought sponsorship for visas. Despite being assigned grueling tasks and responsibilities, management would dangle the promise of visa sponsorship as an incentive to continue working under extreme pressure. This practice is exploitative and unethical, leaving employees feeling trapped and taken advantage of. 4. Confusion and Unhealthy Boundaries: There was a pervasive mixing of workplace and private matters, which further added to the overall confusion within the company. Boundaries were unclear, leading to frequent misunderstandings and disruptions in the workflow. This lack of professionalism extended to management, creating an environment of uncertainty and instability. 5. Absence of proper HR Department: One of the most concerning aspects of ILSC is the complete absence of an HR department. (One in Canada but not in Australia) With no dedicated human resources team, employees are left without a proper avenue to voice their concerns, seek guidance, or report issues. This lack of HR support creates an environment of uncertainty and helplessness, where employees' well-being and rights are inadequately protected. I would not recommend this company to any skilled professional seeking a supportive and fair work environment.

REALLY low salaries for admin staff. No perks. No pay raises or growth opportunities. Good to get experience, not good to stay for a long time.
