Pay wasn't great and they only consider raises once a year...unless it's COVID and decide to freeze raises and then you have to wait a whole other year before negotiating a raise. Bottom line, negotiate hard before you take the job.

Low pay, very minimal raises with huge pay-gaps between jobs with similar responsibilities. You will not even get cost of living increases. Unless you are a Doctor or one of the directors you will never get a meaningful raise. Most Most professionals with a bachelor level degrees get around the 50-90k a year. (some slightly lower, some slightly higher) Directors and doctors are like 300-600k some specialty doctors are getting even more. It was irritating when you would see a director get a 20k raise and you get a $1000 raise, especially when they are already making 200k more than you anyway.
