      - learning opportunities (at the expense of the below cons)

      They write fake reviews to look better, but the truth is that this company is so bad from too many points of view: - deceiving interviews: they will not be completely honest about their expectations and offered benefits - unethical practices: they expect you to work overtime every day (10/11 hours on average) + sometimes weekend and night shift + public holidays + sometimes doing other people's jobs, including warehouse tasks ( they will exploit you instead of hiring more people), besides other unlawful practices. All of this is UNPAID, no compensation whatsoever is offered - unlimited vacation policy is just smoke and mirrors: the shortage of staff will not allow you to use this, you'll be lucky to take around 25 days per year, and only when and if it suits the company's needs - hybrid work is a false promise: although it is written in your contract, your manager will not allow you to work from home (unless you have a medical reason or similar), as the preference is to monitor you. - toxic culture and unprofessionalism: the atmosphere in the office is bad, everyone is frustrated and overworked yet nobody speaks up. You'll have to justify your free time if for whatever reason you won't stay overtime (not to mention peer pressure). Nobody will respect your boundaries and your rights. Gaslighting and false rumors happen too, especially from your superior/s. - unfairness: some employees and departments have privileged treatment, including work from home, more vacation days, promotions, and more. - management is incompetent

      Toxic culture; lack of development

      This place is having a mentally abusive culture. It is incredible how such a small start-up with such a young and progressive team can create such an environment. The egoistic childish behaviour, the shaming, bullying and gaslighting is so toxic that the only solution is to quit. There is nothing measured on meritocracy, but only friendships and parties. The opinion of top management is biased, so if you are part of the friends circle or you are crawling to them , you go ahead in your career. On another contrast, workstreams are not collaborating and everyone is looking after their own goals by using all means possible. Tasks can be interesting and company can grow significantly if the above changes. For now there is no such outlook. Career development is missing and most of the positions are significantly underpaid compared to the market. Last but not least, you are expected to work 24/7 without any bonuses or recognition as the company is striving to get into the 2nd round of investment and if they don't then that is just the end of it. I personally did not learn much after I joined, but if it is your first job, you can learn a lot (be mindful on what expense).

      Poor work culture

      The office is well-located in the city center of Berlin. The job itself is fascinating and you learn a lot.

      Cons

      Hybrid is available in the company, but it feels like managers want to monitor you all the time. Everyone is silent, working as if they could not move from their seats. The fact is that you need to work hard and fast, or you will stay over time. They expect you to work more than 8 hours a day every day with no compensation. They also expect you to do warehouse tasks. This often happens, with no compensation, sometimes working 15 hours continuous including night-shifts.
