There are a lot of very passionate people working incredibly hard in their roles to make a difference to their local community.
Cons
Managerial positions are paid similar remuneration to other local councils, however this is not applicable to staff working in officer positions. There are extreme staff shortages due to restructuring and a lack of understanding of services and role responsibilities. Staff are leaving due to lack of appropriate remuneration, being overworked and undervalued.
