Pros

Friday drinks can be fun, when you go for a few hours and don't stay too late.

Cons

Helloprint is not a place you want to work. I can say with 100% sincerity that I and many others have had a horrible time working there. First off, there’s a LOT of gossiping and backstabbing, and it’s a generally toxic and unsafe atmosphere. Gossip happens in many workplaces, but it’s especially bad at Helloprint. You never know who may turn on you and start speaking badly about you to hurt your position in the company. It was at Helloprint that I experienced some of the worst leadership I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen bad leadership before). At Helloprint, lying is the norm. People here wear masks, only look out for themselves, and are quick to stab others in the back. They will also try to sabotage you even when you are doing your job well. I’ve spoken to many others who said directly that they had a horrible experience working at Helloprint. At Helloprint, I had a horrible colleague. He yelled at me. He also often lied to me and others, causing my personal life to become a total mess because of all the extra hours I had to work for him (these hours weren’t necessary, the extra work came from his lies where he made up things that weren’t based in reality). Others I spoke to at Helloprint had the same experience with their colleagues and teams, so this is the norm at Helloprint. There’s no safety at Helloprint. It’s all toxic. Sharing what you really think and how you really feel is a huge “no” with them. Either you agree with them and their way or doing things, or they completely reject you. I already mentioned sabotage. To give you an example: one guy I worked with, who pretended to be my friend, said all these bad things about me to another company to prevent me from getting another job. This was truly absurd. It’s one thing for someone to not like you and to gossip about you. That’s human nature. But to go out of your way to destroy someone’s career is very messed up. These kinds of horrible things happen all the time at Helloprint. Helloprint is not open to feedback (even if they make it seem like they are). The multiple weird story lines is insane (speaking about both my experience and the experience of many I’ve talked to who also didn’t like working here). What I mean is that it’s not like it’s one person or a few people who were causing some trouble. The entire culture is toxic, and that’s why it’s so unsafe. Combined with bad communication, it’s nearly impossible to get any meaningful work done at this company. I had trouble with a horrible colleague, and someone who tried to sabotage me. I also had someone spreading nasty gossip about me, and another person who was stabbing me in the back and saying all these bad things about me. When I confronted these people about their behavior, they got upset. They became defensive and projected their problems onto me. I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I am saying that these people take zero responsibility, zero accountability, and will always blame someone else. They will never change. They pride themselves on ridiculously long work hours, but they are very inefficient and they don’t get anything meaningful done. Your day will be filled with pointless meetings, leaving you exhausted and unfulfilled. As long as you agree with them, they are happy with you. The moment you speak up and speak your mind, they will be angry with you. You will be judged at this company by many who work there. It’s a cult-like atmosphere (and many I’ve spoken to have said they consider Helloprint to be a cult). They have all these strange rules and you have to join them in everything they do, both in and out of work, or you are considered not a part of their cult. One of the things I wanted to convey in this honest review is that it’s a very unhealthy atmosphere to be in and it’s actually quite scary how much they act like a cult. If you don’t “join” them, they start to hate you. There’s no in-between with them, it’s all black and white. They say they value freedom here, but it’s an illusion. It’s fake freedom. It's a scam. Because, like I said, if you do something they don’t like, they get mad. You are only “free” as long as you do it in their way. With the long hours and completely toxic environment, this is not somewhere you want to work. When you finally get the courage to quit the company, as many do because they are unhappy working there, Helloprint reacts in strange ways. They may start to dislike and resent you even more. Or, if they pretend to want to keep you there, it’s only because they need you for the time being - so, they don’t actually care about their employees. Something that looks like care is usually fake. I shared with other people my experience at this company, simply because I wanted to heal from the way this company hurt me. Many have agreed that this company is not normal, and it can’t get much worse in a working environment. I’m sharing the truth. There’s also strange expectations. I’ve mentioned this a bit in this review, and I want to explain it a little bit more. For example, no one really leaves the office at a normal time, with a normal time being something like 5 or 5:30 pm. You are expected to stay late every single work day, or else you will be judged. When I left work at 6 pm, I was usually the first one to leave for the day. It felt uncomfortable leaving because everyone was still working. This is that whole atmosphere and mindset of “come join our cult”. There’s a lot of peer and social pressure to be like everyone else there. I’m being honest here because I want to give you an accurate picture of this company, as they are very fake in the interview process and make it seem like a great place to work. Helloprint has potential. But it’s not practical or realistic to expect that potential to ever be realized. There is too much ego in the leadership there, and no self-reflection whatsoever. I don’t mean this out of exaggeration: Helloprint has ruined people’s lives. I’m saying this as a fact, not as an opinion. My life has been very negatively affected from my time there in multiple ways, and I spoke with others who said they’ve never had a job hurt them so much as when they worked at Helloprint. It’s a nuthouse. And I promise I mean what I’m saying here. I’m not speaking from any kind of resentment either. Also, I’m not upset or emotional. I share this openly and honestly because I want to prevent others from making the same mistake I did by going to work here. I also don’t want to see your career (and entire life) ruined because you’ve accidentally joined some insane cult. That’s why I felt compelled to share this with you. Especially being that there are so many people with this kind of experience working there. This company is poison. From the most sincere part of who I am, for your own sake, stay away from this company. Run. It’s worse than you can ever imagine.

Pros

Don't work here, it's bad.

Cons

They try to get you with the "culture" but it's really a cult . If you don't show up to every company event it's frowned upon. They expect you to be an ' A team " person for a Z rate salary. They say they don't consider education because they take you at face value. Really they just don't want to pay you.
