      Pros

      One of the best things so far at Hedra are the people. Everyone is smart, humble and super nice :) Perks are pretty standard for a Series A startup. I also like that there is a lot of room for learning new things and the culture makes it easier to take on many hats.

      Cons

      So far I haven’t found much apart from the AI video space being competitive.

      - Get to work at the cutting edge of frontier models and generative AI. - Fun product to build, market, and sell. - Incredibly sharp coworkers who set a high bar for excellence. - Fast growing and fast moving. - Opportunity to make an impact quickly. - Low ego culture. Everyone's friendly and eager to help. - Very competitive compensation and benefits.

      Cons

      - Things move fast. Don't expect a defined process for everything and expect to build things from the ground up.

      Toxic CEO Creates Hostile Work Environment - Avoid at All Costs

      None worth mentioning. I wish I had something nice to say.

      Cons

      - Michael Lingelbach is the CEO. He is unprofessional, rude, and emotionally unstable. Regularly gaslights employees and creates a toxic work environment. - CEO pushed out the co-founder, leaving the company in worse shape. -Failed Series A fundraising due to CEO presenting conflated acquisition metrics to investors. - CEO openly discusses firing employees in front of the entire office and solicits opinions from other staff. - CEO edits and manipulates chat records after conversations to make himself look better. - Hostile work environment for women. CEO bullied the only female employee in a company of 25+ men until she was forced to leave. - Multiple customer reviews online specifically call out Michael's poor behavior and unprofessional conduct. - Michael desperately needs professional training but refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing. - Zero trust, zero integrity, zero professionalism from leadership.
