Pros
- Really smart and hard working team, great culture - You meet a lot of people, and interact with many people. As a developer, it's definitely outside of my comfort zone but really challenges me - You get to work with people who are currently looking for jobs. Their stories are very inspiring (all walks of life) - You get to work with basically any languages, just the nature of the industry and the work they're trying to do - It's very satisfying work! You could be changing the lives of many people
Cons
It can be a very stressful industry to work in. You have to stay on top of everyone you talk to, and try to manage everything and everyone (common nature of startups). You hear a lot of feedback (from users of the platform), and you can never reach perfection so I guess that's just the harsh reality.
