Pros

Nice building and clean surroundings

Cons

Cold, unfriendly and superiority complex plagues this place. Cliques like in high school rule here. They will get rid of you if you are not someone if the clique does not approve of you. No communication at all. Very chaotic

HARTING Technology Group Response

As an organization that prides itself in its welcoming business culture, it is unfortunate to hear this feedback. HARTING, in accordance with our declared policy and principles of "How we treat one another," would not engage in the matter as stated. No team member has ever, nor will ever be terminated on grounds of "if the clique does not approve of you." With that said, we are unable to consider the "Advice to Management" in this review as it would not align with the aforementioned values. -The HARTING HR Team

Low Employee Retention

Pros

Generous benefit package including PTO.

Cons

Poor Senior Management Team. Newly implemented management changes have chased out an average of 1-3 great employees a week for several months straight. The Senior Management Team fails to rely on their assigned leaders. Instead, they insist on micromanagement as a part of their daily routine. Inadequate Training. No open door policy. HR is not an unbiased party to assist employees with internal matters. Confidential information regarding health or personal matters are not kept within Senior Management or HR. The office politics are suffocating to the rest of the staff. Constant fear of job security. Over the last 2-3 years the atmosphere has also turned extreme unprofessional. There is an unspoken internal club that resides within the front office. Without a membership, your daily contributions to the company's success will forever go unnoticed. Managers with poor behavior and ongoing history of treating employees poorly are rewarded with new promotional titles, and given a higher power and protection to behave badly. The morale within the office environment continues to drop each week with the continued poor behavior. How many great employees have to leave for a 'better opportunity' before someone tries to make some changes to retain the talent they initially searched for?

Pros

HARTING offers a nice benefit package and a reliable product line that I can stand behind.

Cons

HARTING is slow to change their internal culture, does not communicate very well, has a difficult time following through on their promises, and has a tendency to put top line sales ahead of sound business decisions.
