Pros

Nothing too much on the pros side except there were some nice people, good location and occasionally free beer and food.

Cons

Terrible management. Senior Management is out of touch with reality and play favorites with others who fall in line. They are then let in on the gossip which comes mostly from the coo. If you are part of his club you are typically a follower and have no opinion... Sheep will love it, if you have an opinion, not so much.

Pros

Company trip (which has since been cancelled as the company is struggling financially). Free snacks.

Cons

Everything the previous reviews mention about the COO (now CEO) and culture are true. He is a full blown narcissist who thrives on creating a culture of gossip, mean girls, cliques and drama. Below him he has created a team of OG's as they call themselves who have been part of GumGum the longest. The majority of them rarely come to work, frequently miss sales goals, create so much drama (they get nearly every VP fired) and yet they magically get promoted every year. In both sales and account management there's a ton of talent below the OG's but unfortunately we never get proper recognition so people are starting to leave.

Pros

- Dogs in office - There are a handful of really talented and smart people - Lots of office social activities

Cons

- Very very strict 9-6 working schedule, at 6pm everyone stands up and leaves it has a weird robotic feel to it. Basically feels like school a lot of the time. - Extremely rude and unfriendly people at all levels. - Not a teamwork culture at all, everyone is only focused on getting themselves ahead instead of a team or product ahead. - No real concept of leadership, mentorship or actual management. - Lots of mistreatment of employees across the board from team members who are "favorites" and they continuously get away with treating people poorly. - Gumgum spends so much time marketing themselves even internally that you don't fully even know where the company is actually working on and why. - An advertising/marketing company first and foremost, not a 'Tech" company. - The concept of building products that the market/users need or even wants is totally foreign to upper management. - Everyone acts like they are in high school. - There are toxic and very rude individuals on all teams across all levels and this ensures that the company remains a very unpleasant place to work.
