Thanks for your review! We appreciate it and are happy to hear that you experienced a distraction-free working environment. Working in a fast-paced scale-up, though, often means being involved in challenging and demanding projects that require quick decisions and actions. We are sorry to hear that some of those actions have impacted the performance and team-building aspects. Your feedback is essential in helping us to reflect on our practices and make improvements, where necessary. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Fun teammates but chaotic company and management could do way better.

Pros

Young and international teammates, and (more my own personal preference here) it was enjoyable to have an informal vibe, it by itself was a motivation to show up to work vs. working remotely

Cons

Work can be chaotic at times. Lack of solid processes. Too many meetings. Management could do a way better job.

Thanks for your honest review. We are glad to hear that you appreciated working in a young and international team and were motivated by our company’s vibe. However, we are sorry to hear that you felt a lack of solid processes and too many meetings happening. We are continuously working hard to make Grover an even better place to work at. Working in a fast-paced scale-up often means being involved in challenging and demanding projects that require quick decisions and actions. We understand that those quick decisions and actions can feel a bit overwhelming from time to time. So it is up to us to ensure we always communicate the reasons behind decisions in a clear and concise manner, to continuously improve existing processes and to keep the number of ad hoc decisions as low as possible. We're committed to learning from your experience and working toward creating a positive and supportive working environment for all employees. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The most interesting feature was to work 100% remote

Cons

Frequent organizational changes led to information gaps and lack of continuity. Following multiple rounds of layoffs, workloads increased significantly, requiring teams to absorb additional responsibilities. At times, there was limited visibility and support from management during these transitions.

Toxic workplace for women

Pros

Urban Sports subscription. Some talented and friendly colleagues and interesting operational challenges.

Cons

My experience at Grover left me deeply disappointed with how the company handles workplace conduct and employee safety, particularly for women. On the surface, the company promotes values around respect, inclusion, and psychological safety. In practice, those policies are performative. When I reported bullying and inappropriate behavior from a male colleague, the response from HR was inadequate and the issues were left unresolved. When I escalated the matter to senior management, I didn’t even receive a reply to my email. That silence from leadership says a lot about how seriously employee concerns are taken. As an ambitious woman who speaks up and challenges decisions, I found myself exposed to hostile behavior without meaningful protection or support. Instead of addressing the problem, it was effectively ignored. The situation became so toxic that I decided to leave. No amount of nice colleagues or interesting operational challenges can make up for dealing with day-to-day bullying and harassment. Cons: Weak accountability for workplace conduct, ineffective HR response to serious concerns, and a lack of women in meaningful leadership roles.
