Pros

Innovative products. Invests in R&D. International firm with global office. Travel is required for sales with a decent expense account. In a growth phase with regional opportunities for expansion.

Cons

If you are not working in the UK headquarters there is less communication, resources and support for regions. High sales and management turnover. Management takes credit for all successes but will let you take the blame for any other outcomes solo.

Lost its soul

Pros

Unfortunately there really isn't anything good to write home about anymore.

Cons

Company was bought by a private equity firm, lots of people made redundant and replaced by staff overseas in India all whilst claiming it was 'growing'. The CEO spent months on the lead up telling everyone how 'exciting' it was. Those fortunate to be able to leave on their own accord did so, and a lot of great talent was lost as well as what felt like the soul of the company. Several big projects that were due to be developed in house have now been outsourced to a 3rd party. If all that wasn't enough, management have then decided to force people to return to the office on mandatory days. Previously you could go in when you felt you needed to and it was rated the highest perk on the staff surveys but for some reason they've chosen to ignore that and their staff. You won't be able to get any work done because you'll be too tired from traveling and you won't be able to concentrate because the few staff that are left will all be on calls to other remote staff.

Pros

Good software on paper, relevant to most banks and buy sides.

Cons

Product is hard to use and already becoming legacy with new vendors using much smarter technology to solve the same problems quicker, easier and more effectively. Not really built for the cloud at all. Poor commission plan.
