      Be Cautious

      Pros

      I am no longer with this company. But I would like to put an honest review up. While there are positives, there is a huge negative. I will try to be fair… The interview process is long. Lasting almost a month. Several different stages. Management at the sales level is good. You’ll likely work for Thelma. Great boss. She gives you the space to have your own style and gives support where needed. Salary is good. Bonus structure is good. I started at 60k as a PSM in Ontario. 65k within a year plus bonuses. After 1 year I was given a raise and told I was working to a management position. Opportunities are there for those who work for it! They promote from within. Gofor can be an uplifting place to work. They support you through growth and struggles.

      Cons

      All of the above is overshadowed by the one biggest issue. You don’t matter. It’s all lies. You are expendable. I saw TOO many people lose their jobs. Myself being one of them with NO explanation. After 1 year and 3 months of what they referred to as a flawless first year. In line for a management promotion. Given a raise. I was let go with for no reason. Watch your back. You are expendable. They will pay you on the back. Praise you. But then turn around and throw you to the wolves. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

      Ambitious start up, but the leadership is toxic

      Pros

      - Fast paced, energetic and ambitious start up - Leadership has big ideas and takes bold moves market wise - Opportunity make an impact and grow personally - Create opportunities for others and help them grow - Great team mates and fun people to collaborate with - Hardworking staff and drivers who are doing their best with the resources they have

      Cons

      - Company slow to match its claims and product ambitions - Top down organization that seeks 'yes men' employees - Exec team have big egos, thin skinned and confuses constructive criticism for disloyalty - Office politics beware of exec who control relationships, and internal communications, backstab or devalue employee contributions for their own benefit - Execs promote plenty of mental health and social buzzwords but are tone deaf issues their employees may face - Leadership routinely sole sources vendors and partnerships with close financial or personal relationship to themselves

      The operating model is to have the 3 C-suite guys, all of whom come from either failed companies or companies nobody has heard of, not empower anyone and to have all decisions made at the top, by people who have either no tech or no logistics background. Completely unfamiliar (and hostile) to Agile, and seem content to silo knowledge and people. A logistics company that couldn't grow during a pandemic...

We are making giant steps towards this already by purchasing carbon offsets for those gas/diesel vehicles, which means we are using regenerative agriculture, afforestation, direct air capture, and enhanced weathering to remove carbon in place of those vehicles we use.
