Pros

A company that cares about its employees. Remote so you can work from home without worrying about commuting. Good benefits. Regular in-person meetups.

Cons

Growing pains, more managers and levels are being added. Challenging communications as everyone is remote and in different time zones, but that's also a strength at times.

Pros

remote and good benefits. Laptop is high spec

Cons

Having worked at gatekeeper when it raved about its 5 star reviews on here to then see them dropped so quickly due to the surge of people starting to speak out, i can honestly say the bad review are absolutely spot on. You will see a surge of positive reviews put on here all seemingly within the same day, so wild guess they are done by the same person or a small group of managers who are worried the bad review (real opinions that are factual and real reflections of what it now is like at Gatekeeper). It is very true that the people who enjoy working at gatekeeper are those who don't see the toxic culture and don't experience it due to being very high up or they play the game well (e.g working late, say what senior leaders want to hear, dont disagree and do as they are told) so are looked after. Ultimately Glassdoor is just people's opinions, based on their own experiences but you have to wonder when the bad ones that are all consistent with each other speak volumes. In my long experience it is a toxic cliquey cult where if you are in the inner circle you are fine, but if you are not willing to drink the cool aid and have a different opinion to the status quo, you are essentially pushed out and made to be feel unappreciated and disrespected. Being afraid of being let go is a constant issue and reviews that speak of an open and transparent environment are false. This is not what it is like at Gatekeeper.

Pros

Good people in certain teams and fun meet ups. Impressive product with intelligent team behind it that work very hard. Fair GTM strategy, a growing business and fairly recent investment.

Cons

An old school mindset, toxic 'family run business' mentality. Very little flexibility and work life balance, you are expected to be 'on' all the time including evening and sometimes weekends, holidays. Lack of strong leadership in key positions including heads & SLT level which impacts cross-operational strategies and effects teams on all levels. Significant lack of progression and recognition for hard work, only public scrutiny when people make mistakes, blaming and finger pointing, often through lack of training, resources and correct management. Redundancies come in flows which has left people feeling scared with little to no reassurance from managers especially in customer facing roles. Strong personalities that borderline bullying where people look the other way due to favouritism. Poor processes to set people up for success especially in sales/ customer facing roles although i have heard this is company wide.
