Pros

Small company, work directly with boss, freedom of taking leaves.

Cons

Not a company for career growth. For example: When asked about bonus the first time: "I still have no idea how we performed this year until I've got all reports from accounting." Note that this is after very obvious monthly/weekly reports showing growth throughout the year brought by both Covid and Google Updates. When asked about bonus the second time: "We decided not to pay bonuses for 2020. Instead we are reviewing salaries permanently for employees since March 2021"

Balanced Review of Gametop

Pros

Firstly, Gametop boasts an impressive collection of video games and offers a diverse range of gaming experiences to its customers. The company has succeeded in curating a wide selection of titles, catering to various gaming preferences. This dedication to providing quality games showcases a commitment to delivering enjoyable experiences to gamers. However, it is important to emphasize that these positive aspects should not overshadow the serious concerns raised in my whistleblower review. The negative impact of the boss's rude and egotistical behavior, coupled with the deceptive hiring practices, outweighs any positive elements within the company.

Cons

From the moment I joined Gametop, it became apparent that the boss valued his ego over the well-being of his employees. His condescending attitude and lack of respect were pervasive, creating a hostile environment that hindered productivity and demoralized the team. What's even more concerning is the boss's hiring practices, which can only be described as fraudulent. He frequently advertised positions within the company, but it became evident that these were merely facades. The boss had no intention of hiring employees to work for the betterment of the company; instead, he sought to exploit individuals by offering fake positions. This deceitful behavior not only wasted the time and effort of countless job seekers but also damaged their professional prospects. By maintaining a façade of hiring, the boss manipulated unsuspecting applicants into believing they had secured a legitimate position within Gametop. However, upon joining, these individuals quickly discovered that their roles were nonexistent or inconsequential. The boss's ulterior motive of exploiting their skills and ideas for his own benefit became evident, leaving employees feeling deceived and betrayed. Such deceptive practices not only harm the individuals affected by them but also reflect poorly on the company as a whole. Gametop's reputation suffers greatly due to the boss's egotistical behavior and his exploitation of potential employees. This unethical conduct undermines trust and creates a toxic work environment that stifles creativity, collaboration, and overall company growth. In light of these revelations, I strongly advise against seeking employment at Gametop. Prospective employees deserve an environment where their skills are valued, their efforts are recognized, and their growth is nurtured. Unfortunately, Gametop fails to meet these standards due to the boss's unethical behavior and deceptive hiring practices.
