Horrible upper management with no empathy.

Management needs considerable training. Some are not trustworthy or respectable people. They need to do quality control on department managers and low level executives.

Management was terrible. Toxic environment. The lies came out of management naturally and they believe their own lies. That’s the scary part.

The biggest problem is management and how they run the office. VP is kind of toxic, gets involved in things that should be way below her, like gossip and spreading rumors. Employees are held to different standards. People are literally at their desk watching netflix all day or working on side jobs and get away with it, but at the same time others will get in trouble for simply getting up to talk to a coworker or checking a text every now and then. Work from home is not an option, some weird rules on OT like, you can't come in early on days you know you'll be busy, but you have to stay late on those same days because its busy. Basically they want to dictate what they want just because they can. Add no sick time, having to work days like the 24th and 31st of december. They are very stingy with taking time off due to the office, really, being short staffed. Forget about long trips, forget about asking for days around any holidays to maximize your time off, its almost automatically denied.

Micromanaging, Anything that you do that may be considered bad will go on your performance record but not the good things. so you end up looking like a trouble maker.

Could pay more and increase 401k matching. Also tend to appoint people to higher management who are not qualified.

Management lacks the ability to take feedback, if feedback is provided they retaliate and HR is no support to the employee.

Long hours, working 6 days a week 8-10 hrs. Only get one Saturday a month off.
