Pros
There's a flexible working practice with a generous remote working policy (we don't have to go into the office unless required). The salary is okay and the share scheme is decent plus there are some other perks during the year that are nice. Sweets and fruit provided in the London office as well as the odd lunch and the craic in the London office is decent when people are in.
Cons
If you want to work in product and do things the right way, GAN is definitely NOT the company for you. Senior Management have no clear strategy and appear to be lurching from decision to decision on a knee-jerk reaction basis, which is leaving a trail of destruction and collateral damage in its path. Two months ago they removed the Product director, which means there is now a lack of a product leader in a company that is/was meant to be product led. As a result day-to-day operations have got really messy and confusing and now further redundancies have been confirmed at a company that is meant to be on the up. It is a really cliquey workplace too and the work/life balance is crap, the Americans expect you to work late into the evening to accommodate their needs and threats of getting sacked are bandied about far too often. There's also a toxic blame culture and its the kind of company where those under-performing are always promoted/rewarded because they are friends with the right people or have managed to get senior management to buy into their BS.
