Pros

First things first.... the older company reviews, are about people no longer associated with this company. Their departure alone significantly improved our work conditions. FTS was blessed with new ownership in the fall of 2018. The new owner has significantly improved the work culture and has demonstrated a genuine commitment to improving staff retention and support. I nearly skipped FTS when interviewing because of past reviews. I'm glad I came for an interview....FTS has become a wonderful place to work! My day-to-day mission is to support and advocate for participants with a disability. I spend roughly 90% of my work-week in the field directly supporting participants. The work is incredibly enriching. I get to make a difference in someone's life every day....I love it! I create my own schedule based on current assignments and love my independence. My coworkers are incredibly talented and professional, offering legitimate support when needed. Leadership is very knowledgeable and make themselves available day and night. There is little monotony in task as each job site, individual, and disability present unique challenges. FTS relationships with state and county agencies are superb offering good sustainability

Cons

A byproduct of supporting participants in the field is reporting progress to proper agencies. Paperwork can get overwhelming if you don't stay current. Most paperwork is required by government agencies and will be found anywhere My work week is based of the participant's work schedule. Most participants are entry level employees whose schedules are generally created a week at a time. This makes it hard to plan ahead. FTS has always approved my personal time off requests, and has allowed me to reclaim the time if I can schedule around conflicts. There can be a significant learning curve to this position. New owner has helped expedite the process with better training and improved 1-1 support through a mentorship program.

Pros

Great coworkers, opportunity to make a difference in people's lives, new owner in the fall of 2018 has already made BIG improvements to overall workplace culture - policies are more fair, investing in technology so we can do our jobs easier/better.

Cons

Not much downtime, but that's both good and bad.

Pros

There is chance to be of service to those in need of employment.

Cons

This company is only interested in making money. They smile in the cliient's faces and talk about how stupid and uneducated they are behind their backs. Owned by two females one is definitely an alcoholic. She has a very bad temper and has unrealistic expections of her employees.
