Pros

Reasonably paid, I guess. People are nice enough but then where aren't they? Another seven words? Are you serious? (sigh)

Cons

Serious incompetence on the delivery side of the business (sales is a bit scratty but not criminally so). A very real sense of trying to bleed our clients dry. A habit of putting bad management between good people and stakeholders. Google docs. Big posters with "our values" on them. The sense of taking a once great company and turning it into an Amazon reseller. Hilarious attempts at benefits "above and beyond". All the good people have left which means....

Pros

Genuinely good people to work with, but that's typical of most companies. Make your own rules about how you work (everyone else does - some managers have 20-30 sick days a year).

Cons

Too many to list, and the company outlook is poor (Read the last EOY financial report). They are only hanging in by the skin of their teeth through mass staff attrition as most people with any skills have gone to Datacom, Intergen, Fujitsu, etc. CEO has finally resigned but too late for the company's credibility. Most external contracts are being pulled at the end of term and shifting elsewhere to minimise risk.

Pros

People you work with are friendly and helpful. Benefits were average and dependent on financial result which over the years has been very hit or miss. I personally had a lot of freedom to do as I wished. Work from home policy was relaxed (but highly abused).

Cons

Ridiculous levels of internal promotion has led to a culture of 'dumb and dumber' when it comes to management. The entire company has lost its way with the clueless guiding or influencing too many decisions. The company is currently suffering from double digit attrition as anyone with any smarts is abandoning ship before it goes down with all hands. If you were seriously seeking employment at Fronde then read between the lines in their last financial report and expect to see significant losses in the next 6 months, and with nothing in the medium to longterm pipeline its going to be an ongoing trend. Company future under existing leadership doubtful. If they can pull a rabbit out of a hat then they will probably re-brand like they did when they previously hit hard times and changed from Synergy.
