Pros

There are some genuinely talented and supportive colleagues across teams, and the company can provide exposure to a number of transformational projects. The fast-paced environment can be a good learning ground for those early in their careers.

Cons

The working environment is highly dysfunctional, primarily due to the conduct of the CEO and senior leadership team. For a company in the hospitality industry, there is a surprising lack of emotional intelligence at the top. Verbal harassment and bullying is part of the C-Suite culture. Constructive feedback is discouraged, and staff morale is often low.

Pros

WFH, market pay, improving staff benefits

Cons

Brand DNA is being destroyed in the name of business decision making. Top leadership communications and actions towards staff often appeared unscripted, reckless and tone-deaf

Poor Management and Leadership

Pros

Benefits and work life balance

Cons

In this company, knowing the right people is more important than having the right experience or knowledge for the roles. This has led to some loyal and experienced colleagues and senior leaders being let go, which is really disappointing. The new leaders don't seem to have the experience or professionalism needed, and things have worsened. I was hoping for improvements, but it seems like we're moving in the wrong direction. A place that does not recognize loyalty, hard work, fairness, and teamwork but promotes favoritism and encourages politics among the team.
