      Takes over businesses just to destroy them

      Was initially looking forward to having a more corporate entity taking over

      Cons

      They lied to us, through the former MD and direct to our faces themselves that there would be no restructuring or redundancies. The CEO sent out an incredibly misguided tweet on the day we were all being given notice of possible redundancies. HR sent out a employee satisfaction survey in the middle of the redundancy consultation. They took an incredible business and tore it apart.

      Zero reasons to work here

      1. they take over companies and make quality staff redundant. for non financial reasons and no justified alternative reasons given. 2. employees left behind after takeover were promised a pay review after being put on minimum wage. this has taken 3 months and still delaying and not signing off the pay. 3. CEO is misguided and tweets irresponsibly. on the day his company told 35 employees they were being laid off during a cost of living crisis he was boasting about his happy life via twitter 4. their 7 year plan is just to sell. they have no passion for business growth or in the industry they have bought into and ripped apart. 5.employees are numbers

      Being part of a growing company like Forterro is genuinely exciting. You can feel the momentum new opportunities keep emerging, and leadership is clearly steering the company in the right direction. The people here make a real difference collaborative, supportive, and professional. As an IT Support Engineer, I feel valued and included in something bigger than just my role.

      Cons

      Growth can sometimes mean processes are still catching up with the pace of the company, but that's expected at this stage and the team handles it well.
