      Pros

      Supportive "we're all in this together" environment. In my experience, most people seem to really know what they're doing and have the families best interests at heart.

      Cons

      Things are always changing; not necessarily a terrible thing. Because of the changing needs of the families in the community - staff has to be always ready to adapt.

      Supportive team members Decent pay and GREAT benefits Super rewarding work Fun activities/morale boosting events planned for staff on a pretty consistent basis Reputable non-profit Respects and encourages staff to keep boundaries with clients

      Cons

      Working with clients is TOUGH Sometimes staff are put in positions where they have to be mistreated by clients and supervisors will just state that it's because the clients are mentally ill and there's no accountability for those clients enforced. Going into clients' homes is not always super safe and not for germaphobes. Caseloads are sometimes a little higher than they should be.
