Pros

Teammates were hard workers, we all did what needed to be done, even in the name of ridiculous demands.

Cons

Work/life balance all but went away. They no longer want to be a great place to work, because they don't want people staying too long. It appears they are trying to prop the place up to sell it. Makes sense, as a sale would reap huge rewards for senior executives.

Pros

Nice people to work with. Managers usually very kind and understanding. Better diversity approaches than some companies I’ve seen, but still very performative.

Cons

Corporate leadership. Absolute nightmare during mergers. They expand job duties by 1/3 and show minimal appreciation to employees (I got a bag made from recycled signage from another bank as my acknowledgement) Did RTO with a 2 month notice on all remote employees with no exceptions except for people they hired outside of footprint, highly technical employees, or management who threatened to leave. “Quiet hiring” noticed an increase in job duties for myself and a lot of people since people started quitting after the merger/RTO. Underpaid. They prefer complacent employees that are happy with a steady job, 2% raise, and $800 bonuses every year.

Pros

Gave me a paycheck while trying to find a new job. Allowed me to see what I do NOT want out of an employer.

Cons

-Values friendship over experience and work ethic when determining promotions -Outdated systems and procedures that lead to customer problems. -Terrible products -Work life balance it terrible. 6 days a week if you have to work Saturday -Willing to promote college grads to manager with no banking experience instead of investing in current employees -Branch Location and Traffic are to much of a factor when determining incentive and promotions -Audit focuses too much on tedious items that don’t mitigate risk -Changing to a sales widget model that will focus more on product pushing to meet sales goals -Puts too much emphasis on Read, greeting customers with a physical handshake, then real sales training and how to have a meaningful conversation with customers -DIDNOT ALLOW EMPLOYEES TO VISIT FAMILY OUT OF THE STATE FOR BOTH THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS!!! -No opportunity for growth -Leadership that is short sighted in implementing new processes and technology -Leadership that does not have a direction for the future -A bank that is not good at being a bank
