Pros
Nice people to work with. Managers usually very kind and understanding. Better diversity approaches than some companies I’ve seen, but still very performative.
Cons
Corporate leadership. Absolute nightmare during mergers. They expand job duties by 1/3 and show minimal appreciation to employees (I got a bag made from recycled signage from another bank as my acknowledgement) Did RTO with a 2 month notice on all remote employees with no exceptions except for people they hired outside of footprint, highly technical employees, or management who threatened to leave. “Quiet hiring” noticed an increase in job duties for myself and a lot of people since people started quitting after the merger/RTO. Underpaid. They prefer complacent employees that are happy with a steady job, 2% raise, and $800 bonuses every year.
