Pros

I’ve worked at a few different sales orgs and Files.com stands out for a few reasons that manifest in my day to day. First, is the product. It’s real. IT solves a problem. Customers rely on it as it is the plumbing for data/files movement in their organization. I don’t spend my time trying to sell something that feels forced or is a “nice to have.” Completely believing in the value proposition and outcomes you’re selling is a breath of fresh air for any sales professional. Second, the team/people/culture is sharp and low ego. People are good at what they do. If you can follow a scalable, prove and repeatable process then this is a spot where you can shine. Low effort Prima Dona type BS won’t get you far here. Leadership is very pragmatic here. You’ll see that on some of the reviews because there is a strong focus on execution, accountability, and results. Trust is inherently given to do your job and supported when you need it. Effort is rewarded and performance is recognized. If you want to take on more, there’s room to do it and you will see tangible results by moving the needle org wide. If you’re someone who values a real product that solves real problems, a team that moves fast, and a no-nonsense culture then this will be a fit.

Cons

Being held to a high standard and being expected to apply yourself every day is expected here. With that being said it can be a bit stressful to perform all the time, especially on rough days.

Pros

I liked the leadership and their drive. They’re hands on and to be honest I enjoyed learning from them. I also felt like my peers were equally supportive. Just a generally good educational environment.

Cons

It can be stressful at times to meet standards and quotas, but this might be more a reflection on the current SaaS economy.

Pros

State of the art product- full stop. As a seller, I can be 100% confident that there is not a better solution on the market for our ideal customers, and it isn't close. Our engineers, product team, support, and onboarding teams are all insanely talented. It's exciting to be involved with a premier product, solving complex, critical problems for large companies. The work is rewarding. For sellers: the opportunity is high. Six and seven figure deals with the top companies in the world. New sellers also get a generous ramp. General Pro's for remote/in office: -My opinions and voice typically feel heard. -The company does ALL of the little things right that focus on the quality of life for employees. -Work isn't "family." Work is work, and your personal time is extremely respected. -Solid benefits. -PTO means PTO. Also you don't need to use it for the last week of the year, which we just have off. -For ANY business trip, they allow you to stay an extra two days on the company, and they encourage you to bring your partner/spouse/etc. I am in office in Austin, and love it: -Great lunches every day (you get to select your individual meal, not catered) -Beautiful building and working space, paid parking, nice gym, you name it.

Cons

As you can see, a lot of people don't like Kevin's (our CEO's) managerial style. He can be brash, and direct. The annoying part is that he is almost always *right*. You can't take his criticism personally, as it typically results in the best, quickest fix to the problem without wasting time. For what it is worth, none of the employees that work in Austin with him have quit. So, the people that work with him every day don't seem to get so offended from the same type of feedback/criticism - there is something to that (don't know what, but something). There's a human element there that needs to extend to our remote employees (while still allowing them to work remote obviously).
