Pros

Rapidly growing industry, interesting people.

Cons

Fifth Domain advertises a great work culture but their astronomical turnover rate would contradict this claim. They continue to excuse their high turnover rate (17 people in six months which is the consistent norm) due to the “great resignation” or not being the right “fit”, but how many times can you hire the “wrong” people before you recognise the issue lies deep within the organisation itself?!? Other Shameful Claims To Fame: Diverse Work Force: Their staff mainly consist of expats working below their skill set, experience and education to maintain working visa’s, junior staff who are inexperienced with employers and personal favourites (who you know vs. what you know). Hard Work: I would like to know what their definition of hard work is?A 38 hour work week is standard and if anyone surpasses those hours they are required to take time in lieu. FD has 3 products (almost) and 13 customers, however, I guess if employees continue to leave and their workload is delegated to other staff members it could be construed as hard or busy. Flexible: Fifth Domain seeks employees who can adapt quickly to change, yet they are not flexible in their own approach or take any suggestions that don’t line up with existing ideas. They do not have a realistic understanding of market research, product positioning or sales cycles. If you challenge the current status quo or disagree with ideas, procedures or approaches you are deemed a bad “fit” and will likely have your probation period extended to then be “let go” due to changing business needs. And the turnover cycle continues….. Transparency: They share financial information once a month. This is standard information that is commonly provided to employees on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Pros

Not well managed so you can generally phone it in.

Cons

Founder is incredibly toxic and quite incompetent. Consistent downward pressure from a Board that are trying to recover their funding from a bad investment.
