Pros

Some cool people work there.

Cons

Every project you're assigned to is a chaotic mess. Everything is disorganized and sloppy. I was fired approximately three weeks before the due date of my son. Wonderful timing, isn't it? They also made sure to give me a severance worth a whopping TWO WEEKS of work after I'd been a loyal hard working and innovative contributor for almost two years! Now my family and I face poverty and homelessness with a newborn child. For doing literally nothing but my job. Thanks Fearless!

Pros

Good pay, good benefits, cool office.

Cons

They care about landing contracts to the point that it is disingenuous to customers. If leadership smells even a whiff of you not fitting with a contract, then you're just fired - no relocation chances... you're just fired without severance.

We hear your concerns and we are constantly working on improving ourselves and the employee experience at Fearless. Working with government clients has growing pains but the potential for so much impact. One of our intentions at Fearless is to help shift the culture of contract-to-contract employment in the Government space. So, we created a robust ‘on-deck’ program to help our team members transition between contracts. It's important that we hire for the person, not the project. Although we weren't a fit for each other, we wish you the best in your next endeavor.

Pros

The Fearless that I joined a few years back was an exciting, employee-centric small business. They've always done a great job of hiring awesome people and prioritizing culture, even if that culture isn't what it was in years past. It helps a lot to both like and trust who you work with. Their original leadership team still does a good job of relating to the workforce as well, even though they've fallen more into the background. The people who work on contracts are usually able to strike a solid work/life balance, and despite the reduction in benefits, the package is decent.

Cons

The Fearless that I left in 2024 felt like a run-of-the-mill government contractor. As they grew out of small business protections, that employee-centric mindset faded away as well. New leadership led to focus on profits and a level of micromanagement that had never been present before. Middle management appears to be put in a position to have to solve all of the problems, leaving them with pretty poor work/life balance if they want to be successful. They also acquired another consulting company that seemed to be very awkwardly integrated into the existing business.
