Pros
None. Trust me there are no plus points of this organization. You regret the day you join it.
Cons
I regret working at Mathlogic and would strongly advise others to stay away from this company. My experience there was overwhelmingly negative, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. Work-life balance: Mathlogic operates as a 7-day working company. You are expected to come to the office on most weekends, often both Saturdays and Sundays. This leaves little time for personal life, and the constant demand for weekend work is draining. Management: The management, particularly Manu Chandra, was extremely unprofessional. I was yelled at and tortured for no apparent reason, which contributed to my declining health. After giving a task, he would hover over me, repeatedly calling me to check on my progress, creating unnecessary pressure. This behavior led to anxiety and depression. Unreasonable working hours: Normal working hours range from 10 to 11 hours a day, and often, you are expected to skip lunch just to meet the demands of your workload. This takes a toll on both physical and mental well-being. Health impact: My health deteriorated significantly during my time at Mathlogic due to the constant stress, long hours, and toxic work environment. Anxiety, depression, and burnout were regular parts of the experience. Unprofessional behavior: The founder, Manu Chandra, lacks basic professional etiquette when dealing with vendors and employees alike. Despite having worked at American Express for 7 years, he has not progressed in his career, which speaks volumes about his capabilities. Salary issues: The company withholds 40% of your salary, regardless of your performance. They never pay that withheld amount, even after you leave. It feels like they are profiting off employees' hard work without giving due compensation. I sometimes wonder how the founders live, given their exploitation of employees. Client relations: Many of the company's clients have canceled contracts due to the rude behavior of the management. If you are an investor or thinking of buying into Mathlogic, I strongly advise against it. Talent management: They hire talented individuals, including IITians, but waste their potential by subjecting them to a toxic environment. It's demoralizing and unproductive. No work culture: There is absolutely no work culture at Mathlogic. The positive reviews you may find online are fake. This organization is not a place for growth or innovation. High turnover rate: Most employees leave within 6 months. If you don’t believe any of the above, feel free to reach out to former employees who have moved on to better companies. They’ll tell you the same: don't join Mathlogic. Lastly I would say: I pray to god your kids get to join organization like yours and go through all that we have been through in your organization.
