Pros

This company does have a product that adds some value for certain customers. At this point, they don't have any direct competitors but that may change in the future.

Cons

Working at FiREapps was easily the worst experience of my career. Starting with the CEO, the leadership at FiREapps has created a toxic, dysfunctional, and border-line hostile work environment. I've never been trusted less in a role, supported less by management, and treated worse in general. The CEO in particular (who holds enormous sway over the entire company) is an insecure ego-maniac who uses bullying tactics as a management style. Stay away.

Pros

Great Products and enormous domain expertise. The prospects and customers tend to be Treasurers of companies and they are enjoyable to work with. The technical staff is professional, helpful and resourceful.

Cons

The marketing message is constantly changing, along with the sales quotas. The turnover in sales, marketing and business development is extraordinarily high. This is due to managements' inability to set realistic goals and adjust their attitudes toward consistently paying sales commissions. Management is behind the times in encouraging a good work-life balance. Many people travel constantly, work long hours and are held up as examples.

Pros

FiREapps is a pure SaaS company solving a challenging business problem for multinational companies around the world. It was first to market and still has no serious competitors. I recently retired from my position as CTO at FiREapps. As one of the original employees, I participated in all the stages of the company’s growth, and I can say without hesitation that I enjoyed my time there more than any other company in my 35 years in the computer industry. Because of this, I was surprised at some of the previous reviews, which do not match my experience at all. FiREapps is a ‘can-do’ company, and we always took all of our clients’ and partners’ problems and technical issues very seriously. Every FiREapps department and every individual made a 110% commitment to this goal, and the FiREapps CEO and COO set stellar examples. If you can’t make that commitment, then go work someplace ordinary.

Cons

Before FiREapps, there was no commercial product in this space. Defining a brand new product for a challenging business problem requires that you continually work with clients and partners to refine the solution as the market grows and understands the potential for an automated solution. This continual change is exciting to some, and disconcerting to others. Fortunately, most of the FiREapps team falls in the first camp, and have stayed with the company a very long time.
