Pros

I really don't know ... But I wish I could

Cons

I can only talk about the Australian subsidiary. Well, there is a poor management and no leadership. Time management is an unknown term there. Communication is poor, really poor. You will be aware that you are the lead consultant on a project 2 days before meeting the client for a workshop ... The project managers don't know the solution, so the "tech" team must rescue them daily. Testing at Esker? It doesn't exist. we put in production, we cross the fingers and hope for the best. When I explained that to my boss he didn't understand ... Maybe because he is not aware of what we are doing. I won't recommend that company, and it got worse days after days. And in terms of salary is way below the market. Of course, if they will try to take advantage of you. Each dime is important to them if it's not in their pocket. The office is not maintained there is no common room, so you always eat in front of your desk. Clearly, the company is sales-oriented, only numbers matter. There is also a competition between different subsidiaries, jealousy is growing. Good luck to current employees!

Esker Response

Thank you for your feedback. We continuously strive to improve the employee experience at Esker. We are sorry to read your experience about a feeling of poor management and leadership. Esker’s flat organizational structure promotes proximity and collaborative between Eskerians and management, along with team autonomy and accountability. Transparency and seamless communications are key values shared by all Eskerians. We also encourage open collaboration between departments and countries with respect, trust and gratitude. Our mission is “All actions toward satisfaction” of our customers as much as employees. We try our best to treat and pay employees fairly. We will follow-up with management to discuss the points you raised. Best regards,

Pros

Great people, work environment encourages collaboration, Lots of fun opportunities to get to know your coworkers

Cons

With recent transition to private equity, seems that feedback is not taken as much. Lower pay and raises despite consistently great company results. Top performers recognize this and seem to leave regularly.

Pros

A few friendly coworkers, good west side location.

Cons

Hours were flexible depending on who you were. Definitely a difference in how specific departments were treated especially when it came to hours worked, days off, working remotely, and pay raises. This is a company who heavily favors sales and marketing. If you are part of those teams, you'll be well compensated. If you are part of a support team, expect a .20 cent raise a year and to be treated like a peon. Little to no consistency in decision making from management - decisions are made on a whim without thinking of consequences. HR in particular had no confidentiality - lots of internal gossip.
