Great vision for work-life balance, but poor leadership
Pros
-Jabbok and Willie have a great vision and truly want to create the best work-life balance a company can in such a demanding industry. The company offers a lot of nice perks including "dinner on us", Wellable app, earned time off through health practices, meal planning, they are very generous with tool reimbursements, safety boot reimbursement and the health insurance plan even includes a high deductible plan that is paid in full by the company.
Cons
-Upper management is clueless and has lost sight of what really happens in a branch during day to day operations. -Some of the leadership don't belong where they are, they're too busy talking in metaphors and reminiscing on their glory days as a Branch Manager. They don't spend enough time in a location to truly understand what isn't working. -HR cannot be trusted by employees to do the right thing and they do not practice confidentiality even though they say they do. -There is a HUGE divide between sales and operations and although everyone is aware of it, no one seems to want to change it. -Most sales people are arrogant, rude and only care about themselves and their commissions. -New hires who come in with a lot of experience and great ideas get shunned by the employees who have been there from earlier on, leaving the company to make the same mistakes over and over again. -Upper management is too worried about keeping their jobs instead of actually leading their teams. -Operations is being held accountable for revenue and profit, and sales is barely being held accountable at all. -It seems like the place is becoming a revolving door instead of a place to be mentored or cultivated for future internal growth. Lots of turn and burn, especially on the sales side of things.
